Bethany welcomes applications from students interested in transferring from other colleges. Any student who takes post-secondary classes from an accredited institution after graduating from secondary school will be classified as a transfer student. Transfer students must have a 2.0 cumulative grade point average in academic course work, based on a 4.0 scale, to be regularly admitted to Bethany College. Students who do not meet this requirement may elect to have their application evaluated by the Admissions Committee for Conditional Admissions.

All candidates for transfer admission must submit the following:
• Application for Admission and Scholarship
• Official final secondary school transcripts
• All official post-secondary school transcripts
• ACT/SAT test results if taken
All official transcripts must be received by Bethany College before the 20th day of class. If it is not received by the 20th day Bethany College reserves the right to administratively withdraw the student. Course work from previous colleges will be added to the student’s Bethany College transcript from official copies only, and only after the student has attended at least one class during their first semester. Students will not be allowed to pre-enroll for the next term until all official transcripts are received.
However, if a student intends to participate in intercollegiate athletics during the first semester at Bethany, ALL transcripts must be received by the Registrar’s office before the student will be evaluated for purposes of determining eligibility for participation; this includes the transfer student’s high school transcript.
