At Bethany, we know the college search is an exciting time for the entire family. And as a parent, you're bound to have questions and concerns. Below are answers to questions we hear most often from parents.
Q: Is it easy to fit in at Bethany?
A: Finding the right "fit" is one of the most important factors in choosing a college. Our community is small and supportive, yet we offer the wide range of academic options you'd expect from any liberal arts institution. Bethany students are extremely active in athletics, clubs and organizations, student government and Greek life. Our alumni often credit Bethany with their extraordinary multi-tasking skills.
Q: Is Bethany safe?
A: Compared to national crime averages, Lindsborg is an exceptionally safe community. Bethany College is a violence, weapon, alcohol and drug free campus. Safety personnel patrol the campus nightly from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m. Bethany Health Services is open every weekday and in case of medical emergencies, Lindsborg Community Hospital is less than two miles away.
Q: Are Bethany graduates sucessful?
A: Around the world, Bethany graduates are working - and succeeding - in their chosen professions. These fields include government, education, healthcare, the sciences and the arts. One alum served as White House physician. Another plays for the Kentucky Opera. And countless others are pursuing advanced degrees in graduate school, law school and medical school. If success is the goal, Bethany is the place to start.
